 | Aquamedic Kalkwasser Reactor
The Kalkwasserreactor is a sealed unit designed to supply reef aquariums with Calcium by enriching the fresh water top up supply. It uses the Kalkwasser-method and is filled with Calcium hydroxide, which is intermittently agitated by a pump. It is possible to automate the system by combining an automatic level controller such as the ab aquaniveau single with the AquaMedic Kalkwasserreactor. The reactor is engineered to take a pH electrode to control the quality of the kalkwasser.  | Aquamedic Calcium Reactor 1000
The calcium reactor 1000 is a closed system design which can be mounted above or below the main aquarium or in a sump. It has a large media volume and a built-in circulation pump which uses a needle-wheel to ensure a perfect CO2/water mix. A threaded port is provided for optional pH control. Media is included but you will need a source of CO2 and a regulator. Typical flow rates are 1 to 4 litres per hour. Size 17 x 17 x 52 (tall) cm.

The Aqua Medic bubble counter is a simple and safe unit for controlling the CO2 dosage into aquariums. It is filled up to the half with water and switched between pressure regulator or solenoid valve and the CO2 reactor, so that it remains without pressure.
