Tetra Black Water Extract 100ml
Recreates the blackwater conditions found in many tropical streams and rivers.

Many tropical fish, such as tetras, barbs, Discus and killifish, come from waters that are rich in natural peat and plant extracts. These compounds are important for health, reproduction and condition, and can be added to the aquarium using Blackwater Extract.

Improves spawning success, health, and colouration in many species of aquarium fish

Aids plant growth with selected minerals and trace elements

Limits the growth of bacteria and fungi

Helps to control algae, by reducing the penetration of light into the aquarium

Application

Add 5ml of Blackwater Extract per 10litres (2 gallons) of aquarium water initially, followed by 2.5ml per 10litres (2 gallons) every 1-2 weeks, as part of your normal maintenance schedule. Blackwater Extract may initially turn the aquarium water a slight brown colour, until the ingredients have fully dissipated. Activated carbon and other chemical filter media may remove Blackwater Extract, and so should be removed during its use.

API Ammolock 2

Water treatment which instantly detoxifies ammonia, very handy in newly setup tanks or those with filtration problems. Also removes chlorine and chloramine from tapwater. Works in fresh and salt water.

Each 5ml will detoxify 3.0ppm ammonia and remove 4.0ppm of chlorine or 2.0ppm chloramine from 37 litres (8.2gals) of water.

Skimmer compatible water conditioner.

Prime is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and salt water. It should be the first choice conditioner when setting up a new tank, adding, or changing water. Prime removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. Prime converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank’s biofilter. Prime may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Prime detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them.
