T5 Aquarium Lighting

T-5's are the new form of lighting which is taking the aquarium world by storm. They are basically VERY powerful fluorescent lamps.

The A1 phosphor mix gives up to 10% more light per watt than a metal halide and produces minimal radient heat.

Tube life of up to 15,000 hours, which is over 5 years at 8 hours per day!

The unit is water resistant and all components are designed to be non-corrosive.

Supplied with fitted plug, T5 A1 Phosphor tubes, and reflectors.

THESE UNITS ARE NOT SUPPLIED WITH BULBS!

If you are using them for a marine tank we would suggest the D-Deltec Aquablue Blue Plus bulbs optioned below. They offer a 60/40 white/blue split in the same bulb, giving a good consistent bright white colour to the aquarium. ideal for coral growth in tanks with water up to 80cm deep.
