Capable of switiching upto 3x 600watt metal halides! Most standard light timers are unsuitable for switching fluorescent or metal halide lighting due to the large start-up currents. This timer contains a heavy duty 30amp relay to withstand the start-up surges characteristic of these loads. This can do away with the need for a separate lighting contactor.
