This media has a very wide range of application and is suitable for growing most 'aquaculture algae' such as: Chaetoceros calcitrans, Chaetoceros muelleri, Chaetoceros neogracile, Dunaliella tertiolecta, Isochrysis sp., Pavlova lutheri, Skeletonema costatum, Tetraselmis sp. and so on.Being a liquid, mixing is simplicity itself there are no powders to dissolve or complex recipes to follow. Just add 1ml per litre of sterile seawater to produce a complete phytoplankton culture medium based on Guillard's F2 formulation.
